Kennedy has gained recognition as a school that teaches through the concept of sustainability. By using that concept Kennedy does more than just educate students. It also preserves and restores the community’s ecosystems; helps build the social fabric of the community; and contributes to local economic development. With this theme in mind, it is understood that student's lives change when their natural passion for learning is nurtured and transformed into habits of life-long learning and reflection.
As is the Kennedy tradition, we are working to improve both the academic and social well-being of our students. We realize that a strong education is critical for the development of students and we are prepared to dedicate ourselves to providing stimulating, rigorous, and relevant instruction in a cooperative and caring environment. Our primary goal is to provide a climate and structure where all students can learn in an environment that best suits him/her. Through a cooperative effort involving community, parents, students, and staff we will continue to have a positive impact on the lives of our young people.
